Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.  Flooding is expected from overnight on 14 November 2025 through to tomorrow 15 November 2025.  Flooding may affect properties and roads around Abbeyfield Road Wolverhampton.  We are closely monitoring the situation .  Start acting on your flood plan if you have one Don't but yourself or others at risk.  This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 15 November 2025 or as the situation changes.

River levels have risen at the Bushbury Wychall Drive river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is possible this afternoon and evening, 03/09/25. The Waterhead Brook is a reactive catchment so water levels respond very rapidly to rainfall, but also can recede quickly. Flooding could affect properties along Abbeyfield Road, Wolverhampton. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. This message will be updated by 12:00 on 04/09/2025, or as the situation changes.

River levels have risen rapidly at the Bushbury river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is imminent. We expect flooding to affect properties on or close Abbeyfield Road and Northycote Lane to Stafford Road Wolverhampton. Further rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to remain high until tomorrow Sunday 22/09/2024. We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please move family, pets, possessions, valuables, and cars to safety and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
